Richard Murrell founded Charlotte Residential Group in 2003 and served as Broker in Charge up through September 2022. He brought over 35 years of professional real estate experience and knowledge. Moving to Charlotte in 1978 with Bank of America, formerly NCNB, Richard took his corporate real estate banking career and nurtured a real estate company to meet the vast needs of commercial and residential clients. He had many achievements and successes during his real estate career and helped build the foundation to a small hometown company.
Amy joined Charlotte Residential Group in January 2004 and purchased Charlotte Residential Group in 2021. As Richard’s daughter she has maintained the family business and strives to uphold the core principles and values in which the company was built; those include experience, trust and integrity.
Amy completed her undergraduate work at Queen’s University in Business Administration and completed her graduate studies at UNC-Charlotte with a degree in Public Administration. Her experience in marketing, sales and relationship building provides a strong foundation for her involvement in real estate transactions. She is conscientious in planning schedules, meeting deadlines and appropriating budgets effectively for our clients. Her referral business from past and present clients has extended representation not only in residential real estate but also commercial, investments and property management services.
Amy is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors, Carolina Multiple Listing Service and the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association. She is a licensed Broker in North Carolina and Realtor in South Carolina.
Amy is devoted to her family. She enjoys personal time with husband, two children, extended family and friends. Amy has several hobbies, memberships and community interests that keep her on the go with connections far beyond real estate. She enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making an impact on those around her.

Lindsey joined Charlotte Residential Group in October 2005 as Executive Administrator.
Lindsey completed certifications in Real Estate Professional Assistant, Managing Single Family Homes/Small Investment Property & Appfolio Software. She brings several years experience in social media, software application, organization and management. Her interactive and communication skills make her an invaluable team member. Lindsey is the face of our property management organization and liaison for our software interface. She is dedicated to her work and committed to creating a positive environment in the company.
